Va Bene: Fine dining flavors while you gas up
On the second floor of Petron along EDSA corner Pasay Road, you’ll find my current favorite pasta place. The seats are uncomfortable, the acoustics are bad, but the meal will more than make up for it.
The pasta is fresh and the ingredients are authentic. The salads are to die for. The food is so good that I’ve failed to make it to dessert each time I dine there.
The octopus salad is my favorite. And I usually order the organic egg tagliolini with mushrooms and truffle oil or the portobello mushroom canelloni.

Till my next meal!
Perfect for a rainy day! Damaso’s heart warming meals make you feel like you’re home. So far, I’ve only had a few of their dishes but will definitely be back for more.
